Island Adventure From Koh Phi Phi to Koh Phangan

Koh Phangan is located in the blue waters of the Gulf of Thailand. It is positioned between the popular Koh Samui and the calm Koh Tao. Koh Phangan is renowned for its full moon party. It is a vibrant event that beckons revelers from across the globe. It swells to tens of thousands as the New Year approaches. They are all in pursuit of unparalleled festive fun.

Yet Koh Phangan is not solely about lunar festivities. It also offers tranquil retreats on idyllic beaches and the lush wilderness of Ang Thong National Park. Travelers seeking adventure can board a speed boat to visit the nearby havens. These include the diving hotspots near Ko Phi Phi and the peaceful Thong Nai Pan.

Despite Koh Phangan’s lack of an airport, access to this island paradise is seamless. Surat Thani Airport provides a gateway to the region. From there, visitors can procure ferry tickets to embark on a maritime journey. Travelers often pass through Thong Sala Pier on Koh Phangan or Ton Sai Pier close to Phi Phi Island.

For those arriving from Phi Phi Island or planning to venture there, the trip involves an exciting ferry ride. It will give you the chance to witness the stunning vistas of Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park. On Koh Phangan itself, the Koh Phangan ferry offers convenient travel between the islands. It ensures that every leg of the journey contributes to the overall experience.

Whether it’s the allure of the full moon party on Phangan and Koh or the desire to explore the majestic Phi Island, this region caters to every whim. For those departing from the mainland, Surat Thani Airport is just a ferry ride away from the magic of Koh Phangan, where lots of fun and memorable memories await.
