Koh Ngai, also called Koh Hai, is located off the coast of Trang yet it belongs to Krabi Province. The island is mostly visited from Trang and the surrounding islands like Koh Kradan and Koh Mook. The easiest way to travel to Ngai is through Trang. You can catch a train from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Trang Railway Station and then get on a taxi or a minivan in order to reach Parkmeng Pier to catch a ferry to the Fantasy Resort & Spa which the check-in point of the island as it doesn’t have an actual pier. Via the sea is the most convenient and the most exciting way of transportation between the islands. A speedboat trip is available every day from several locations like Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lipe, Koh Lanta, Phuket, and of course Koh Mook, Koh Kradan, and Koh Bulon. There are no roads or motorized vehicles on the island apart from the longtail boats as the island is only around 4 kilometers long and 2 kilometers wide, the only transportation on the island is two-legged!

Koh Ngai is one of Trang’s islands yet, this small beautiful island belongs to Krabi Province. This island doesn’t have a local life, it is only dedicated for tourism unlike its neighbor Koh Kradan. The only buildings on the island are restaurants and hotels. Most of the resorts are located south as the widest stretch of sand is found there.
