Phang Nga is a coastal province set on the Andaman Sea. It is also among the most visited places in Thailand and there are many ways of transportation to get there. The first one is by taxi but beware of the high prices of the taxi services as they tend to ask for costly prices, so make sure you know the prices beforehand, there is a huge selection of car services from Phuket. The second option is by plane, but the closest destinations that have airports with flights coming in and out are Krabi or Phuket and then take a boat ride. The third choice is by boat, you can take a ride from 3 different places close to Phang Nga which are Koh Phangan, Koh Samui, and Koh Tao. The boats will take you to Tapee pier, the boat ride will take about 2 hours and 20 minutes. And from there you can take a bus to Phang Nga which will take about 5 hours and 20 minutes. Phang Nga is a beautiful coastal province with very rich culture and history. Also, it is very popular among divers and snorkelers due to its crystal-clear water and ravishing flora and fauna. Koh Panyee, known as the Floating Muslim Village; is a very small island that has beautiful and huge limestone cliffs. The island is very distinguished by being built on stilts in the water making it seem like it is magically floating on the water. The number one industry in this village is fishing and is known for some high-quality seafood. One of the things you could do there is dining in one of the floating restaurants there that offer the most delicious seafood while raving about the beautiful scenery of the water. The village has many souvenirs shops and bungalows that are offered for a price.

Located on top of the hill which is 30 minutes away from Phuket by car, Samet Nangshe Viewpoint has gone through a transformation from a barely heard of a place to one of the most popular viewpoints or panoramas in Phang Nga. It has an amazingly beautiful view from the top over the rocks of limestone, making it far away from pollution and lets you enjoy the relaxing fresh air. The view up there is a 180-degree view providing you with the best seat to enjoy the sunrise, the Milky Way can sometimes be seen from up there too.

What are they exactly? You ask well, they are cave systems that are collapsed, surrounded by breathtaking walls of limestone and open to the sky. Kayaking is recommended as you take a trip through the mysterious formations of caves, another tip is don’t forget to bring your camera with you.

Also known as Koh Ta-Pu, the island is a well-known celebrity that everyone from all over the world travel miles to see. This island grew very famous due to its very notable role in the film “The Man with the Golden Gun” from the James Bond franchise which turned this island into a touristic site that everyone must see. It is also known for its signature rocky pinnacle; many tours are done on the island including lunch at a Muslim fishing village at Koh Panyee.
